Conveyor Belts

The conveyor belts are used for the transport of loose and lumpy materials. With its effectiveness of transport they belong to the most common ways of transport. They are used in the mining, metallurgical and construction industries in power engineering, agriculture etc.
The conveyor belts consist of a carcass (plies) protected by rubber covers and a protection or cut edge. According to the type of the reinforcement material we distinguish fabric and steel cord conveyor belts.
The fabric belts have a carcass consisting of rubber coated polyamide (P) or polyester (EP) fabric. They are produced in the belt strength categories from 200 – 3500 N/mm and widths from 400 – 2400 mm.
The steel cord conveyor belts have a carcass consisting of steel cords embedded in a rubber core which is protected by rubber covers. They are produced in the belt strength categories from 1000 – 5000 N/mm and widths from 600 – 2400 mm.

Types of Conveyor Belts According to Application

  • Conveyor Belts for General Application – Fabric Conveyor Belts
  • Steel Cord Conveyor Belts
  • Heat Resistant Conveyor Belts
  • Conveyor Belts for Mines and Flame Resistant Belts
  • Conveyor Belts for Transport of Oily and Greasy Materials
  • Conveyor Belts Operated at Low Temperatures
